Welcome once again to Friday where we flip the calendar page ahead and see what writing prompts await for the upcoming week. I’ve had some interesting ones recently so I am hoping this week the trend holds. I sit down once a year and make a list of the writing prompts all at once so that when the time comes to write my fifteen minutes I am seeing them fresh and not thinking about where the sentence might have come from or what I was thinking about when i first put it down.
As always, you can do as many or as few of these as you like and of course impose whatever order you want for them. As they were pulled randomly from a list and assigned days back in December I take no offense if you want to shuffle them about a bit. This is just the order I will be writing them in this coming week.
Monday, May 3rd: He refused to meet my eyes.
Tuesday, May 4th: I was tempted by many good things at once.
Wednesday, May 5th: His attention was completely focused.
Thursday, May 6th: The fly crawled along the wall.
Friday, May 7th: Wolves howled in the distance.
And now I am going to forget I saw those and not think about them at all until it is their morning to be written. I’ll see you back here in a bit for the recap of the fourth month of The Fifteen Minute Novel. Until then have a great Friday.
