Upcoming Prompts for the Week of September 6th – 10th, 2021

Good morning all. This morning got off to a bit of a late start. A word of advice, don’t look up the symptoms of the Delta Variant just before bed just because you want to see how they differed from regular symptoms. Especially during allergy season. Is that the body aches they mentioned? No I’ve just lain in on spot for a really long time trying to figure out if my allergies this year are any different than any year before and my body is stiff from not having moved. Is that shortness of breath I’m detecting? No I’m just holding my breath as i try to listen to my lungs and see if I can hear any difficulty breathing.

Sigh. It sounds silly in the daylight, but at two am it sounded completely reasonable. It actually sounded reasonable until about four in the morning when I finally annoyed myself enough to let it go and drift into sleep. Where I then had dreams about Tuberculosis Wards. (I’ve been doing some historical research so it isn’t as random as it sounds).

So the late start today. And the decision not to look up any symptoms of anything right before bed.

But on to the upcoming prompts. Monday is Labor Day so I am taking the day off and there will be no postings. Everything else will be as normal. Or a normal as I get. AS always feel free to write on as many or as few of the prompts as you want or just simply read along as I write. It is entirely your choice.

Monday, September 6th: Skip for Labor Day

Tuesday, September 7th: He crouched low in the shadows.

Wednesday, September 8th: The kettle began to whistle.

Thursday, September 9th: He diversified his wares.

Friday, September 10th: The relationship with his family was a mix of closeness and frustration.

Have a great weekend and I will see you back here on Tuesday.
