Another week has entered the books. And I am personally very glad to see it go. it was actually a really good week, but last weekend was more of a working weekend with no down time, so it didn’t really feel like a weekend. And I feel more exhausted than usual because of that.
But I have to say, I also got several usable story bits from this week’s prompts as well. Several are well on their way to being full fledged stories. Which I am rather pleased with. So shall we see what next week’s prompts look like?
Monday, May 22nd: You are as useless as all of the others.
Tuesday, May 23rd: There was blood on his sleeve.
Wednesday, May 24th: Everything felt damp.
Thursday, May 25th: He slipped on his boots.
Friday, May 26th: After the storm passed, he went to inspect the roof.
Some of those look delightfully dark. Perhaps murder and mayhem are in next week’s cards. Who knows? We can all find out together next week. For now though, I am going to forget they are there and just come to them fresh as they arrive next week. I’ll see you then.
